Barbara Campbell is a strong and stunning Cuban-American woman from the Washington Heights neighbourhood in Manhattan. She studied fashion at FIT then went on to spend more than a decade in the beauty industry, and brings this expertise to her jewelry line, Barbara Campbell Accessories, founded in 2006. Splitting her time between Park Slope, Brooklyn, and The Hamptons, Ms. Campbell designs each piece with an eye for urban chic and a feel for nature. Straight from the Collection- a moment with BARBARA CAMPBELL-What's New!

She’s known for her signature design “Lucky Six” necklace. This New York-based jewelry designer, Barbara Campbell, launched her line in the fall of 2007. In just a few short months the line has become a big hit with beauty maven Mally Roncal, and Eyewitness News Anchor, Lori Stokes, who purchased her pieces at the ultra chic boutique, “Gone Local” in Amagansett, NY. We sat down to talk with Barbara Campbell, Create Director of Barbara Campbell Accessories.

Who is your style icon?
My earliest influence is my Cuban mom, Fina. One of my favorite pieces is named after her. Her Spanish glamour and style is always current. She told me simple is always elegant.

What is your favorite piece?
My Signature piece “Lucky Six” Necklace. It’s GREEN, delicate, feminine and very charming which represents the flower of luck.

Tell us what inspires you?
Moving my fingers, seeing how my mind communicates with my thoughts through movements of my hands creating one-of-a-kind innovative designs inspires me every day. I am not limited.

What do you think is the best trend for the upcoming season?
Playing with different textures, organic shapes and layering. This is going to be a glamorous season! If you have not seen my GREEN Collection please do so in person at the following stores or call for a private showing.

What items from your new collection should every woman own?
It’s hard to chose I actually have four collections this year my industrial revolution, GLAM ROCK, BLACK RAIN and Simple & Elegant. But what I'll tell you is that every woman will find her favorite GREEN best. Starting with my signature piece “BC Logo” necklace, “BC Ivory Cream” leather cuff and “Dottie”. Good luck ladies, it’s hard to choose, they are all great unique Eco-Glam pieces!

What’s coming that’s new? Belts!
I have designed a new line of organic shape hand made belts with a Eco-Glam rock touch to them which will be available in stores this season.
